Chief Executive Officer

Shinee Hotels & Resorts is a brainchild of Mr. Deepak Thakur which he has planned & launched in 2018 at India in budget segment by the name of Blackstone Hotels & Resorts & now in Nepal, Bhutan & Thailand. When he entered in hospitality sector he decided to introduce a concept where every individual hotel owners should tie-up with Brands for improvement in their day to day operations, guest experience, Healthy revenue with GOP, Manpower support & upkeeping Hotel Standards. Mr. Deepak have a vision to promote all countries tourism worldwide so that tourist can carry happy memories & experiences from one country to other countries. After opening of first beautiful Boutique Hotel Shinee Norchhok in (Lazimpat, Kathmandu Nepal), now Shinee Hotels & Resorts is managing 7 Hotels in Nepal. Shinee Hotels & resorts have plan to open 12 hotels with an inventory of 1000 plus room inventory before 2023.

Mr. Deepak is a versatile, self motivated personality having entrepreneurship, Caliber of self leading & dealing with any tough situations. He always work as a team & love to create leaders for future hospitality industries. He is an enthusiastic personality, fully loaded with innovative ideas which he always apply in grooming industry new comers. His thoughts & visions are different than other entrepreneurs. Director of Business Development and Project

Mr. Shrestha plays a key role in coordinating and managing the communication and development activities of the Investment and Commercialization Group. Mr. Shrestha is highly experienced as he headed the completion of large commercial project, different hotel and resorts and different residential developments several places in Nepal including interior design. He coached and mentored a team of over a 100 crew members in the filed, resulting in greater productivity and efficiency. Mr. Shrestha leads Shinee hotels and Resorts with exceptional credentials managing project scope, and schedule, in a multi-disciplined organizational environment, delivering successful industrial projects developing user requirements, scope definition leading to conceptual design, construction, startup and turnover.

Director Of Food & Beverages

Diwakar jha is the Director of Food & Beverage who lookafter all Restaurants & Hotel Operations, He believes in positive mental attitude is that philosophy which asserts that having an optimistic disposition in every situation in one's life attracts positive changes and increases achievement. He has good interest in baking, to develop his interest he completed his BHM(Bachelor's of Hotel management) from KOHINOOR COLLEGE OF HOTEL AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT STUDIES, MUMBAI - INDIA. After completing his BHM. Mr. Diwakar got selected for MT(Management Training) Program in India's renowned brand Hotel, there he proved his self for his brand and achieved many times positive strokes, during his MT program he inspired by his GENERAL MANAGER and choses FOOD AND BEVERAGE department to develop his skill and experience.5 years of huge working experience in F&B Service he got a chance to work with Nepal's renowned brand SHPL(Shinee Hospitality PVT. LTD.) As a F&B Manager. There are many people who trained by him are working for renowned brands and culture like India , Nepal, and abroad too. “The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.”

Admin & HR Manager

Palpasha Maskey is currently appointed as a Admin and HR Manager in Shinee Hotels and Resorts with a demonstrated history of working in the 4 star deluxe to 5 star hospitality industry both home and abroad skilled in Hotel Management, Hospitality Industry, Event Management and Teamwork. She holds Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management from Purbanchal University. She is now leading the Admin and HR team of Shinee Hotels & Resorts in Nepal with her good leadership skills and helps in finding the areas of Improvement in various departments via audits and self-assessment. She also monitor guest feedbacks and problems & do the root cause analysis and prepares a smart action plan and Identify the training needs, provide various trainings to employee.

She is someone who is motivated and determined to become part of something great in the field of hospitality industry with her exceptional service and professionalism. She is always excited to find the solid solution towards guest needs and the team with herself. She looks forward to deliver the memorable experience to the customers while they are enjoying Shinee Hotels and Resorts with their families and friends. She also believes in helping other as well as her team mates to improve their lives by sharing her experience and knowledge.

Brand Manager

10 years of corporate experience with giants like Unisys Global, Dell Inc, Dun & Bradstreet as a Service Delivery Manager ( IT Operations ) - Ms. Ananya Bhattacharjee, confidently moved on to perusing her passion for creative arts in the year 2015 as Creative Director of Graphéink. She holds an MBA degree in Marketing and Diploma in Illustration & Graphic Designing. She began her entrepreneurial journey with brands like Mandira Bedi Inc, JIO, Covestro, Withlocals, TATA AIG, OPPO & Adani, who saw her creative potential and hired her first.

She has a curious mind with a strong head for business & believes that the world is full of opportunity. She loves nothing more than getting to know our customers, understanding their long term business plan, and working towards helping them achieve their business goals. She has been known for her creative branding artwork on multiple marketing channels and thinking beyond the norm, she offers a jam-packed fuel injection of creativity to skyrocket a brand's identity into the public eye. From research to planning and conceptualization, from design to delivery, she takes no shortcuts and allows zero compromises. Her appetite is insatiable with 100% commitment.

Financial Expert

Being charted account background Mr. Sanjib Mahato is an expert in terms fixing account and finance reports in order. He has helped several firm to set up the accounting system during his career exploration. He believes that accounting segments is the department which has to be maintained with solid track records. He is valuable key member of Shinee Hotels & Resorts family and holding very strong pillar within Organization.

Financial Controller

Ms. Gurpreet Kaur is valuable key member & Financial Controller of Shinee Hotels & Resorts. She holds Bachelor of Business Administration degree from HNBG University, Dehradun, India in her professional experience. Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounts department, like preparation and management of the hotels financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with the local tax laws. Responsible to represent the finance department during daily morning HOD meetings.

She has worked with some of the leading company the industry manufacturing, construction internal audit, tax advisory and litigations, financial planning and MIS. She has worked on many organizations Accounting and Financial system during his professional career.

Brand Chef

The youngest Brand Chef in Nepal, Heaven Khanal, For several years, he’s been working under the relentless pressure of smoke-crowded kitchens and endless customer orders. The man, who prides himself in his expertise in Culinary, started his journey as a worker in Food and Beverage Production then ventured into chefery as a profession at the Italian cuisine where he worked for several years.

He says, Young Chefs are rarely given the opportunity. It is a rule to be very old to reach the top post. This is not true. If only age was important, I would not be in this place today. Chef Khanal has proven that good work is more important than age. He is confident that the move will soon reach young chefs:

Currently he is working at the Shinee Hotels and Resorts as a Brand Chef, he previously worked as a Sous chef at the renowned Club of Nepal for a year. He has worked in about seven hotels and restaurants so far and has gained a lot of experience and knowledge during this period.

His academic credentials includes BA.(Hons) Hospitality Management graduated from UCSI University. With the intention of diversifying his skill set and to fall deeper into the wonderland of food, Chef Khanal decided to head to Singapore to learn more of the food gastronomy for six months at the Pan Pacific Singapore. And now leading a team at Shinee Hotels and Resorts as a youngest executive chef of Nepal.
